The policy and procedures have been established in an effort to provide consistency in the management of our vehicles/motorbikes. These guidelines must be followed to avoid damage, injury, or abuse to the organisation’s vehicles/motorbikes and its users.
This policy provide stakeholders with accurate, objective, timely, consistent and complete information. It enhance smooth flow of information, feedback mechanisms and manage communication that is handled in an ad-hoc manner without requisite professionalism.
AMURT prohibits discrimination, including harassment, in its own workplace on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, veteran’s status, sexual orientation, genetic information, marital status, parental status, political affiliation, and any other conduct that does not adversely affect the performance of the employee.

The goal of the Ananda Marga Universal Relief Team (AMURT) is to provide its employees with a workplace that is free from the abuse of controlled substances. Ananda Marga Universal Relief Team (AMURT) considers all forms of abuse towards children to be unacceptable, and recognizes that it has a duty to safeguard children – that is to keep them safe, promote their wellbeing and protect them from abuse and harm. Neglect, physical, psychological/emotional and sexual violence are the main forms of abuse.
AMURT aims to achieve better practice in the management of risks that threaten to adversely impact on AMURT, its functions, objectives, operations, assets, staff, consumers or members of the public. AMURT ensures its staff, beneficiaries, volunteers, contractors & suppliers and other people are not harmed by its activities.
AMURT has sound financial management systems and procedures entrenched in its policies and whose mandate is drawn from management and the governance structures. AMURT acknowledges that financial systems pervade the entire operation of the organization.
Procurement in AMURT refers to the overall method, structure, schedule, manner and effectiveness with hich the supply chain is implemented. procurement more specifically is the art of balancing objectives, resources and timefames to achieve optimal results.
AMURT is a voluntary charitable organization which depends on donors funding and small scale nonprofit income to sustain the projects. It employ workers on contract and volunteers for a specific period and such AMURT volunteers can not apply for membership of trade union.
