Tujitegemee is a five-year program under Kenya Health Partnerships for Quality Services (KHPQS) funded by USAID PEPFAR to implement OVC & DREAMS Programs in coastal region counties of Kilifi and Mombasa by Ananda Marga Universal Relief Team (AMURT). Tujitegemee is currently in year 4 of implementation and aims at increasing access and Demand for Quality HIV Prevention Services and increasing access to Quality Health and Social Services among OVC/DREAMS and their families.
AMURT wishes to recruit 1 data Assistant who will be based in Mombasa County to support data entry in CPMIS data base.
- At least a Diploma/degree in Heath Records and information technology or a related field
- Experience in OVC data management and working with CPMIS for at least 2 Years is a MUST
- Knowledgeable in Case management Steps and process
- Data entry experience in an NGO project would be an added advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
- Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices Basic understanding of databases
- Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
- Great attention to detail

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure proper filling system is in place in accordance with AMURT and USAID Tujitegemee filing management SOP.
- Receive completed forms, verify and validate for completeness, accuracy and integrity
- Enter data from paper formats into computer files or database systems
- Support Data for decision making at the site level
- Update existing data whenever required
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Perform regular backups to ensure data storage
- Verifying and keying in data in CPIMS/PMIS data base
- Help in retrieval and storage of beneficiary and program files
- Write site level M&E Reports
- Provide data for and participate in monthly data review meetings at LIP level
- Participate in DQAs
- Perform regular data cleaning to ensure quality OVC data in CPMIS
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of all the information concerning the project beneficiaries (OVCs, Caregivers, Guardians, or relatives mention in the files) during and after the contractual period.
- Carry out any other responsibilities related to your duties as assigned by your supervisor from time to time
