Ananda Marga Universal Relief Team (AMURT) is a Kenyan not for profit non-governmental organization registered in Kenya in 1993.
Fully Kenyan and independent, the organization is inspired by Shri Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar; an Indian Guru and Philosopher who in 1965 sought to help victims of disasters that regularly hit the Indian sub-continent.
AMURT aims to improve health care, education, empower the youth with skills, foster entrepreneurial spirit and support initiatives that seek to preserve environment.
As of 2022, we have presence in 13 counties. Our core values are key to our identity and focus. They include:

Equity: We strives to ensure that all individuals, regardless of their background or circumstances, have equal access to essential services such as healthcare, education, nutrition, and livelihood support.
Confidentiality: AMURT has the ethical and legal obligation to protect the privacy and sensitive information of individuals and communities that we serve.
